Guest Speaker:
Dr. Brian Waldron, Department of Engineering, Director, Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering

Dr. Waldron is a native Memphian, who attended the University of Memphis. He received his doctorate from Colorado State University in 1999, in Civil Engineering with a focus in groundwater. He joined the University of Memphis in 1999 as a research associate. Currently, he is an associate professor in the department of Civil Engineering and directs the Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research, or CAESER. CAESER a large multi-disciplinary, community-driven center with three main areas of research: Water, GIS and Urban Analytics.
